Communication by Telephone
You may call with questions during regular business hours. Questions will be triaged by our nursing staff with input from our providers. Non-urgent questions may also be placed through Patient Gateway . If you wish to speak with one of the providers, please give detailed information to the nurse or medical assistant and a provider will call you back within 24 hours.
Communication by Secure Internet Patient Gateway
A wonderful convenience available to our patients is the Partners Patient Gateway . This Patient Portal provides you access to your child’s electronic medical record through your own secure web portal. We encourage you to use the Patient Gateway. We believe you will find it faster and easier than telephone for many functions. Through this site you are able to view your child’s appointments, medications, immunizations, view certain lab results, and communicate with the office. You will find it useful for securely communicating non urgent questions, requesting non-urgent appointments, requesting medication refills, providing us with change of address or insurance information. On this site you will also find a reliable library of information about illnesses and conditions, medical tests, drugs, and self help information.
Patient portal access is available for our parents and patients, ages birth through thirteen years, and for our adolescents ages 18 years and above. Implementation for adolescents ages 13 through 17 years is coming soon.
Well child visits may be booked in advance by phone or may be requested through our secure Patient Gateway portal. You may call our office beginning at 8:00 AM to book visits for a sick child. Whenever possible we see our sick patients the same day. Please call early in the day so we may schedule your appointment at the earliest time possible. This allows your child’s treatment to begin promptly and if your child is cleared after the visit, allows him/her to return to school for the remainder of the day. Please do not use Patient Gateway to request urgent visits.
To refill recurring prescriptions you may call during regular business hours or you may request your refill through our secure web electronic medical record Patient Gateway portal. You must be up-to-date with physicals and follow-up visits so we may be certain that the medication is still the most appropriate choice.
If you believe that you have a life threatening emergency, please call 911 or go to the nearest Emergency Room. For other questions regarding the need for urgent treatment please call us first. We can advise you by telephone and arrange an office visit for the next day, often eliminating the need for the Emergency Room visit.
